Garmin GPS Product Families

Garmin, the most prominent name in GPS systems, offers the widest diversity of GPS equipment. Indeed, they have a bewildering range of configurations that overwhelm the beginer. To help you get started, we present a summary of the product lines. Within each family there is a series of models. As the models increase in price, they add features such as color screens, additonal memory, or more connection options. So, read the descriptions carefully. All links lead to Amazon.com where you will find complete descriptions, user reviews and competitive prices. Amazon also carries other GPS manufactures, such as Magellan, Garmin, TomTom and others.

Garmin eTrex GPS If you want classic, hand-held, full-featured GPS for hiking and geocaching, the Garmin eTrex line is a great value.
